The Hamilton Rangemaster is a FCC Type Certified Part 15 AM unlicensed transmitter developed, built and serviced by Keith Hamilton of Cary, North Carolina. The FCC allows private individuals, organizations and companies a means to broadcast legally without a broadcast license thanks to the Part 15 rules.

Unlicensed AM broadcasters may use up to one tenth of one watt (100 milliwatts) with a antenna and ground length of 10 feet or less to broadcast to their neighborhood or a small city or town.
